Classic Car Overview
I purchased this previously owned Austin Healy 1963 BJ7/8 3000 MKII in 2001.The car had a basic paint job and new 72 spoke wheels and new tyres. I removed the motor and clutch for complete overhaul restoration; only 7000 mile on the engine since rebuild. Many, Many refurbished and replaced NOS parts replaced: bumper to bumper such as Convertible Top, Stainless Exhaust System, Read Leaf Springs, etc. All receipts are included in this sale. The car has been garaged under my ownership. The car is complete and mechanically sound. The paint is good, but not excellent. There is no rust anywhere on the car. The interior was re-carpeted with blue matt installation. All the chrome is very good to excellent without pitting. The fit of doors and hoods is very good to excellent. The car drives extremely well. It has an intermittent electric overdrive in both third and fourth gears but requires attention; not the overdrive but the wiring.
