If you're a fan of vintage Japanese cars, be sure to check out Nissan's online heritage site. There are tons of vintage Nissan pics and specs going all the way back to the 1920s. Each featured car or truck has relevant specs and a little "detail" tab that gives some background on that specific car.
The Volkswagen Kombi van reached iconic status, with even a school lunch box fashioned in its image. During those early years, the Volkswagen Microbus morphed into various forms. From a cargo carrier with no windows behind the driver's seat to a windowed passenger van with three rows of seats, the possibilities seemed endless.

Classic Car Overview
1962 Volvo 122S $4,700
White 4-door. Clean, unrestored, mostly original.
B18 with dual SU carbs, M40 manual transmission.
Best guess mileage estimate of 250K, about 30K on rebuilt engine.
40 years worth of records and information, shop manuals, original owners manual.
Original bluish-green interior, white exterior. Original Lobster-claw seatbelts in the front. One fender was replaced after a minor fender bender in the 80s.
Original "Volvo by Bendix" AM radio. Missing antenna, by RediRad is already installed so you can listen to iPod, or anything with a 1/8" headphone jack through the original radio and under-dash speaker. Great vintage audio!
More good stuff - Nearly new Michelin tires, newish iPd suspension parts, have all receipts. All new rubber around windows, doors, trunk. All windows and doors operate, fuel key works on original gas cap. Clean non-leaking trunk. Excellent spare tire, lug wrench. No Jack.
Frame--welded aftermarket ball hitch - haul a tiny camper!
Front floor pans have bad rust, but no other major rust on the car. West Coast 100% salt-free car.
One brake caliper is sticking. Transmission occasionally pops out of 4th geat at low rpm.
Push-button starter bypass already done, these were notorious for breaking ignition keys. (insert key, turn to ON, hit starter button)
I love this car. Selling everything to go full-time RVing.
Currently out of registration. Clean Oregon Title.
