SPS0064 maximizes that clean aesthetic with lustrous Indigo Blue paint with black leather interior, polished stainless steel bumpers, and original style chrome wire wheels.Beneath the sleek exterior beats the heart of a sports car icon. The roadster is powered by a Ford Racing 302ci V8 topped by an aluminum intake manifold with Cobra lettering, and breathing out through black ceramic coated headers. Rated at 340 horsepower, the engine is teamed with a TKX close-ratio 5-speed manual transmission and QuickTime bellhousing. The V8 is dressed with 289-style air cleaner and valve covers, and has a 289 radiator overflow tank as original.The cockpit immerses the driver in the golden age of sports motoring, with original-style 289 street dash and instruments, Motolita wood steering wheel, and original style catches and fittings. SPS0064 is equipped with fresh air foot box vents on the driver and passenger sides, heater and defroster, grab handle, glove box, door map pockets, and floor mats. The black FIA-style roll bar is an obvious indication the car is equipped for recreational driving.The Superformance MKII Street 289 is a meticulously engineered and crafted reproduction of the original, built under an exclusive license from Carroll Shelby Licensing Inc.
