Finished in elegant Grigio Silverstone, the hand laminated fiberglass body features reinforced inserts and the clean MKII street profile for an authentically British silhouette. True to the originals, it wears period-correct details including original style indicator lenses, headlights, a chrome over brass handcrafted windshield frame, and authentic style wipers. The car rides on classic 15-inch wire wheels with Michelin tires for the proper stance and road feel.
Inside, the cockpit features rich Armaratto tan leather, including fixed back bucket seats, and matching door panels. A wood rimmed steering wheel and a leather wrapped dash fitted with Stewart Warner instrumentation, preserving the timeless MKII aesthetic.
Chassis and dynamics are pure Superformance: an original John Tojeiro inspired design built on a 3-inch heavy duty TIG welded ladder frame with crossmembers and crumple zones. Precision rack and pinion steering keeps inputs direct, while the fully independent front and rear transverse leaf spring suspension is paired with Bilstein custom crafted shocks. Stopping power comes from Wilwood power assisted vented disc brakes (four piston calipers up front, single piston in the rear).
