VERY NICE OLDER RESTORATION STILL SHOWING WELL. 65,251 MILES. -Offered for sale, from Kurt Tanner Motorcars, is this very nice restored MGA MK2 in good original colors. The MK2 was the final variant of the MGA with only 8700 produced in 1961 thru 1962, and featured attractive horizontal taillights, recessed grille teeth. Mechanical improvements included the most powerful engine yet, the 1622cc unit, coupled with a higher geared rear axle for easier freeway cruising.  -This car presented here was nicely restored about 10 years ago and still looks good. The owner started with a very good example with no signs of rust or accidents. It appears it was cosmetically and mechanically restored along with a new wiring harness. It has been locally owned the last few years and has benefitted from an aluminum radiator, alternator, stainless exhaust system, Vredestein classic radials.  -Paintwork and panel fit is very nice throughout. Chromework is a mixture of new and used items, with a decent windshield glass and original windshield frame. The car's interior trim features a set of beautiful black leather seats with matching armrest, newer carpets, panel kit, good fitting soft top, seat belt set, newer steering wheel.
