Overall this is a nice mechanically sorted Jaguar that should give you many miles of fun driving. The bodywork was repainted some time ago and the finish still shines well and looks good but there are numerous age related defects, and chips here and there. There are some minor bubbles on the lower portion of some of the doors but according the the owner these were there in 2015 and have not gotten any worse since. The chrome bumpers and in good shape but the trim around the windows and door handles do show age and some pitting. The tires and wheels are in good condition. The interior shows very nicely with full leather hides on all door panels and the full seating while the headlining was redone in Alcantara. Carpets are in great shape. The wood is very nice and looks to have been all refinished at some point. Overall we would classify this MK II as a condition 3 car on the Hagerty rating scale, it is a nice driver car that can be taken to your local car show or cars and coffee but not a concours car. The car can easily be enjoyed as it is now or could be improved by some paint repairs and brightwork replating in the future.
