Classic Car Overview

Celebrating our 65 year anniversary! This family owned and operated business was established in 1960, making us the oldest classic car dealership in America. Special thank you to all our customers for entrusting us to park the car of your dreams in your driveway while preserving automotive history for future generations to embrace and enjoy. -Grams family & Volo Museum staff Wow, I love this Corvette! Only 1,300 miles on a high quality body off frame restoration with some very significant upgrades! Air conditioning, yes you read that right, plus power rack & pinion steering, disc brakes and more to make this stunningly beautiful car actually perform as good as it looks. EXTERIOR: They did a great job retaining the classic 1962 Corvette style while giving it a very modern appeal. The fit of the body is better than it was in 62. The fiberglass is in excellent shape. I dont see any damage or repairs, all the gaps are precise and the doors shut with ease. Its been painted in a gorgeous base coat silver that is laid out evenly. The clear coat gives it a wet looking finish. The trim sparkles like jewelry! All the stainless is straightened and polished, the chrome was replated. The windshield and seals were all replaced. The convertible top frame was restored and upgraded with rich black canvas material. The wheels are a beautiful enhancement. Performance redline tires are wrapped around the premium 18 inch Schott wheels. INTERIOR: Holy cow this interior is amazing! Not only does it look amazing but it is comfortable and the workmanship is top notch. All custom glove soft leather trim on the sport seats, custom door panels, dash pad, grab bar, custom console, and visors. The floor is covered with premium square weave, hand cut and sewn carpet along with matching mats. The original style steering wheel was made smaller for easier in and out and its also wrapped in a leather cushion grip. All the gauges were restored, it has the correct style shifter even though its now a 5-speed. And of course, it has air conditioning neatly installed. Red seat belts were installed as well. ENGINE COMPARTMENT: The high level of workmanship is also obvious in here. The powerplant is a GM crate Ram Jet 350 which features a vintage looking fuel injection with modern technology and makes 351 hp. A perfect choice for this car! It also features an electronic ignition as well as chrome valve covers and alternator. The Vintage Air uses a polished compressor and dont forget there is also power steering and a dual reservoir master cylinder. Keeping it cool is an aluminum water pump and radiator with proper shroud, new fan, and polished overflow tank. Every screw is proper and clean! TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Beautiful! It has been boxed and upholstered to match the interior. Under the trunk lid is painted slick and of course the weatherstrip was replaced. UNDERSIDE: The body was off the frame and the chassis was completely restored and has some nice, upgraded features. The front end steering and suspension was completely rebuilt and it now has rack and pinion power steering. The rear suspension was rebuilt and upgraded with air shocks. The fuel system was all replaced. The brake system was completely redone with new lines, the e-brake assembly is hooked up and it now has disc in the front. A perfect sounding custom dual exhaust system with Accelerator mufflers was neatly installed. Looking up at the crate motor its still clean and its attached to a Tremec 5-speed manual transmission. A custom drive shaft leads back to the restored rear end. The floors are in excellent shape still showing a large percentage of its original raw fiberglass. The chassis nicely painted black. We have a picture of the completely restored chassis before the body was set back on. SERVICE: We take pride in our cars and reputation. Therefore, we built a 2 million dollar, 10,000 square ft service center, and hired a team of technicians to work it. This is so we can sell you the best cars within reason. I love how they merged modern appeal and function while retaining the vintage charm. Again, the quality is high and your pride will be too owning this one. I wish had 20 of these, but I dont so hit that buy it now ! For nearly 30 years, I, Jay Grams, have personally written the highlights for almost every car in our collection. What I provide is my professional opinion based on my experience with these vehicles. However, opinions can vary, and I strongly recommend a personal inspection to form your own view. Our sales team is always available to answer any questions you may have. One great option is to request a personalized walk-around video, where we can showcase the car and share our teams insights. Our cars are displayed within a museum setting. If you are interested in a specific vehicle, please schedule an appointment with a salesperson to view it. Without an appointment, there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you decide to purchase a car, your admission will be refunded, and youll receive a one-year museum membership. 815 385 3644 9-5 central Sales@volocars.com Answered ASAP Air conditioning Power steering Rack & pinion Disc brakes Fuel injection Custom interior Leather upholstery Cushion grip wheel Black cloth top 18 Schott wheels Performance redline tires
