Classic Car Overview
The engine is now running, but it is not driveable without more work. It appears to be a 283 2bbl with 3 speed manual. The car appears to be very much original and for its age has few rust holes. The car spent it's life in Wyoming (fairly dry climate) and is currently located there. The upper panels do have hail damage from sitting on the driveway all these years and some surface rust.
I have been working on it over the last year to remove all the covers, inspect it and see what it needed. I inspected the cylinders with a bore cam and decided that cylinder condition was good enough that they could be oiled and it could be cranked. It has a new fuel pump, new points and condenser, fresh oil and filter, new battery, and new master cylinder. It is running on a separate fuel can because the fuel tank is dry and may need to be inspected-fuel gauge reads full, so sender may be bad. It may be fine to fill the tank, I just know it's easier to work on an empty tank. Mileage is unknown, shows 63,662, but I think the speedo cable is broken.
To be driveable, it needs (at minimum):
-Tires
-windshield (hail damage)
-cooling system service (hoses)
-wheel brake inspection and service
It looks like a good project car, but I have several that I am working on already.
