Classic Car Overview

The is a piece of automotive history! A classic 1961 Volkswagen restored Beetle with flat windshield, 2-tone paint, tan interior, and a 1600cc re-built dual carburetor engine. Garaged in Southern California, it is hard to find a 65 year old beetle in nice condition with no noticeable rust. The dashboard radio cutout is even still intact. The tires, brakes, windshield wipers, and oil likely need changing and the gas tank drained. It has been registered as a non-operating vehicle in CA (and not driven) since 2017 so more work or maintenance may be needed. This vehicle is sold as-is, so have a local mobile mechanic come to the garaged location to do a full inspection prior to purchasing this very collectible classic car. Not sure if the odometer works properly, it reads 95,097 but the true mileage is not known for sure. However, the owners have not driven this bug much ever since the engine was re-built. One of the visors attached to the rear view mirror does not stay up. The paint needs touch-up in several locations on the fenders and door to the engine compartment per the photos. Owner has title.
