VW Kombi Van Seeing Resurgence in Popularity

The Volkswagen Kombi van reached iconic status, with even a school lunch box fashioned in its image. During those early years, the Volkswagen Microbus morphed into various forms. Classic Car Overview

This car runs beautifully and is a joy to drive. It has lovingly been well cared for both physically and mechanically.

I am just the third owner. The previous owner bought this car in 1995 when he had it repainted, undercarriage work done, and installed a new interior. Also, at the time, he replaced the clutch master & slave cylinders and rebuilt the front end.

Just prior to me buying the car, the previous owner had stainless headers and exhaust installed (great sound), the radiator rebuilt, the e-brake mechanism replaced, and a Weber carb and manifold with cold air intake installed. Plus he added real Minilite wheels, new tires and a new top.

I bought it March 2024 and have continued his care and attention with the following completed: the transmission and overdrive were rebuilt by Quantum Mechanics, the engine gone over, with a new voltage regulator and coil installed. The rear shock arms were replaced and have installed the correct ammeter and clock in the dashboard and new Hella horns fitted.

All lights, signals, and gauges work. It does need a new heater control arm and one minilte hub has disappeared.

This car comes with the original jack and wrench. Plus I am including the original Zenith carbs and manifold, many extra parts, and the original owners manual, shop manual and a nice cloth cover as well.

This car has consistently been garaged by both of us (please see the pictures). This car comes with all service records from both me and the previous owner.

You get a fun top down driver for the Summer. Lots of thumbs up and smiles everywhere you go are included at no charge..
