We offer for sale this beautiful and very rare Morgan Plus 4 Super Sports from 1961. This is not a standard Morgan Plus 4 but an original low-line Super Sports equipped with the original Lawrence Tune 2138cc 4-cylinder engine. The powerful engine is equipped with the original and rare Weber DCOE 42 carburettors. The powerful engine in combination with the low weight of the Morgan ensures exceptionally good handling. The Morgan Plus 4 that we offer for sale here comes from an enthusiast who has owned the classic for no less than 30 years and purchased it as a restoration project in consultation with Peter Morgan (then director of Morgan LTD). The restoration project took more than 10 years but the results are impressive. This British classic is in very good condition both optically and technically.

The real Morgan connoisseurs see that this is anything but a standard Plus 4. This classic has been converted into a low-line super sport with original factory body and factory wings. It is finished in the beautiful colour British Racing Green and sits on a set of painted 72-spoke wire wheels. The interior has also been updated and equipped with Connolly leather bucket seats a wooden dashboard with restored gauges and the original Brooklands steering wheel. What makes this Morgan Plus 4 completely special is the fact that it comes with an original Lawrence Tune hard top.
