Classic Car Overview
This 1961 Ford Galaxie Sunliner has had just three owners over its lifetime. The previous owner cared for the car for many years and regularly showed it at car shows. After he passed away, the car was placed in indoor, climate-controlled storage, where it remained protected for a number of years.
The car has since been brought out of storage and a restoration was started with the intention of putting it back on the road and returning it to the condition it deserves. Unfortunately, I've reached the point where I simply have too many other projects and not enough time to finish this one, so I've decided to let it go to someone who can complete it.
Here is where the restoration currently stands:
Complete new brake system
5 new whitewall tires front end alignment
Replaced radiator brackets lower and upper hoses
New Transmission cooler lines
Fuel tank flushed with new fuel filter
Rebuilt carburetor
New battery
New spark plugs
New ignition coil
New positive and negative ignition wires
Convertible top works
