Built on the chassis of the Giulietta Spider with a coach-built steel and aluminum body designed by Carrozzeria Bertone based on the Bertone Aerodynamica Technia (BAT) design studies, the Giulietta Sprint Speciale was a limited-production homologation special. With an extremely low weight and an incredibly low drag coefficient of 0.28 (the same as a C6 Corvette), the cars all alloy 1.3L Inline-4 was capable of propelling the car to around 125mph much higher than its siblings managed.
It is estimated that no more than 1,366 Giulietta Sprint Speciales were produced between 1959 and 1963. With its limited production and BAT-concept-inspired design, Giulietta Sprint Speciales (and the similar Giulia Sprint Speciale) are highly regarded by enthusiasts and critics alike. Precise handling and brisk acceleration ensure every journey is memorable, while its rarity ensures values are only likely to continue appreciating over time.
The incredible 1961 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint Speciale Coupe featured here is finished in stunning Blu Scuro over a gorgeous Grigio & Rosso interior. This investment-grade Sprint Speciale has been beautifully restored with no expense spared including a complete mechanical engine and transmission rebuild by marque expert F40 restorations in 2023. This represents an incredible opportunity to acquire what is most likely the finest example to come to market in years. I personally believe the investment potential of this extremely rare and desirable Italian icon will grow beyond your imagination. Offered to the most demanding collector, investor, or enthusiast who desires to own the very best at an investment price!
