This 1960 Volkswagen Beetle was initially delivered to Highland Motors in Spartanburg, South Carolina, was refurbished in 2000, Finished in Indigo Blue over gray and blue leatherette, the car is powered by a 1.2-liter flat-four paired with a four-speed manual transaxle. Equipment includes four-wheel drum brakes, 15 steel wheels, wide-whitewall tires, a roof rack, chrome bumpers, a cabin heater, and an AM radio. The ignition system was serviced in preparation for the sale. This Beetle is offered at no reserve on dealer consignment with copies of initial sales documents, an owners manual, service records The car was refinished under previous ownership in Indigo Blue and features chrome bumpers with overriders as well as a driver mirror, stainless-steel vent shades, and a roof rack. Pitting is noted on the door handles and bumpers. Body-color 15 steel wheels with white accents wear chrome VW-stamped hubcaps and are mounted with Coker Classic wide-whitewall tires. Stopping power is provided by drum brakes at all four corners. The white-finished two-spoke steering wheel features a Wolfsburg crest and frames an 80-mph speedometer. The five-digit odometer shows 59k miles, less than 1k of which were added under current ownership. Cracks are visible on the steering wheel.
