This 1960 Triumph TR3 is finished in its original Livery of Sebring white with Red Leather interior and Black top, built on August 25th 1959 the car was dispatched 6 days later and headed to America aboard the Vessel “Buffalo” After arriving in the USA at Car sales inc in Los Angeles the car made its way to San Diego where the original owner who was the previous owners Doctor thoroughly enjoyed it . The previous owners recall they had always seen the Doc driving the car and would always see it when they met up for visits.

Just a few short years after the car was purchased the Doctor acquired the new TR4 and sold this vehicle to David Knight his patient. David and Barbara Knight owned the car from the late 60’s to just recently when we purchased it. We have Receipts, Registration and an Original California Pink Slip dating back 35 plus years. The car had gone through a few changes and at one point was Blue and in around 2006, David as a retirement gift to himself restored and had the car restored back to original. A full 3 ring binder with over 100 photos are included that document this process no corners were cut everything is new and the car runs and drives spectacular.
The vehicle retains its original engine and drivetrain, the vehicle has a body matched color underside, top, side curtains, tool kit and spare. A COA accompanies the car states its original colors and engine numbers, origin etc… The car was originally sold in California and has survived here ever since with just 2 owners from new. This is a very clean and solid rust free vehicle, it has never been hit or abused. This was David’s Pride and Joy and it shows. There are 100% no disappointments with this vehicle this about as fine a Triumph TR3 you will ever find, trust me we’ve looked.
We spent several thousand bring the car back up to snuff with fresh tune, carb rebuild, new gas tank, battery etc to ensure the car is ready to be enjoy by the next new owner form another 35 years!!
