1927 Chrysler Guide

In just a few short years, Walter P. Chrysler took his company from an unknown automotive manufacturer to fourth in the industry. Walter Chrysler was a perfectionist with a deep mechanical background. This aspect, probably more than anything, helped to make Chrysler Corporation grow quickly.

Dare to Be Different - 1968 Chevy Impala SS 427

A viable alternative that's still daring and different, the 1968 Chevy Impala SS 427. SS 427 Impalas are very distinctive and unique. Sales were modest, so finding an Impala SS 427, especially a convertible, could be a little challenging.

Classic Car Overview

Garaged in Kingman, Arizona on famous Route 66, just 100 miles SE of Las Vegas, this 1960 little Nash Metropolitan will turn heads and bring a smile to even the hardest heart! While most American auto makers were following a "bigger-is-better" philosophy, Nash Motor Company executives were examining the market to offer American buyers an economical transportation alternative. The Metropolitan was designed in Kenosha, Wisconsin. It was patterned from a concept car, the NXI (Nash Experimental International), that was built by Detroit-based independent designer William J. Flajole for Nash-Kelvinator. It was designed as the second car in a two car family, for Mom taking the kids to school or shopping or for Dad to drive to the railroad station to ride to work. It was  the original "commuter/shopping car" with resemblance to the big Nash, but the scale was tiny as the Met's wheelbase was shorter than the Volkswagen Beetle's. The Nash truly was ahead of its time as the gas crisis of the 1970’s forced an industry change to compact and subcompact autos.

This red and white cutie, with its 1500 cc engine and three-speed transmission has recently undergone a complete tune-up by local restoration specialists. New plugs, and rotor were installed this year. Carb was completely rebuilt. Tires upgraded to radial. Car is complete with the rear spare tire and cover. Such a fun car to add to your collection! Sadly, my wife bought this for our son and me to take to local car shows and events, but he recently passed away of Leukemia. It’s time to let the Nash bring joy to a new owner as it did for us.
