1960 Ford Thunderbird

Step back in time to the era of the golden age of automobiles. This car is in excellent mechanical condition and can be driven anywhere. The body is very solid with only minor body imperfections. I purchased it back in 2009 and have kept it inside a climate controlled garage since then. I was captivated by the unique style and appearance of this T Bird. I have spent many many hours performing most of the work myself and am quite proud of the results. 390 cu inch engine with recently rebuilt FMX auto transmission. New solid state distributor, coil, new wires, and new Holley 4bb carburetor. Double row timing chain and gears. Recent oil change. Factory working A/C with new compressor (R134), new blower motor, condenser/dryer. Added fan shroud with six blade fan. Now have electric pusher fan to enable A/C use during parades or heavy traffic. New water pump, thermostat, hoses, heater core and power steering pump. New complete exhaust system including exhaust manifolds with Magnaflow 50 series mufflers. Power front disc brake conversion with a dual master cylinder, rebuilt brake booster, new rear brakes and drums. Power steering and power windows. Rebuilt front suspension with all new bushings, ball joints and coil springs. Heavy duty front sway bar with recent alignment performed. New rear leaf springs and all new shocks. Side glass replaced. Tachometer installed in place of the original clock. Still have clock. Re-chromed front bumper and interior trim pieces. All rubber has been replaced on the doors, roof rail weather stripping, felts, trunk seal and rear window seal. New horn, steering column rebuilt with new shifter collar, detent and shifter arm. Windshield wiper and washer have been converted to electric instead of vacuum. New carpet and floor mats. Added factory style seat belts. Factory locking gas cap. Original tube type AM radio has been completely reworked with the Aurora solid state upgrade to AM/FM HD stereo with blue tooth and a subwoofer under the seat. Tires are nearly new. Includes shop service manual, body manual, and all receipts. It now has dual matching rear view mirrors (not shown in these photos). No trades. Clean title on hand.
