--Dark Green with Tan Leather and Tan Wilton wool Carpeting, 3.7 Liter inline 6 cylinder engine, 4 speed david brown gearbox, matching numbers, long term collector ownership. The DB4 was unveiled in its purest form at the 1958 Paris Motor Show. It was a totally new car which was quite an achievement for a highly regarded but small British manufacturer. It was a new platform, chassis had disc brakes all round used completely new 3.7 liter straight six cylinder engine. Its body was styled by Touring of Milan and thus carried its Superleggera all-aluminum body, a true masterpiece of British engineering with Italian style. The Series 1 example is considered by many to be the most beautiful of the DB4 range due to its Egg Crate Front Grille, Larger Front Bonnet Scoop and Straight Rear Cathedral Tail-lights all part of the original Touring of Milan design. One of only 150 Series one cars produced and one of 73 original left hand drive cars, extremely rare and well known to Autosport Designs inc, being serviced and sold previously. Imported from Europe in 2000 by Autosport Designs and having covered just 3,000 kilometers since being fully restored, it was sold to local New York based collector with a complete interior redone in Tan by Autosport Designs, Inc. Engine compartment detailed, full service and new wheels and tires, who subsequently traded to Gelendawagen USA, Santa Fe, New Mexico. Then sold to a CT based individual who traded it for a new Aston Martin at the time showing 21,307 KM, Purchased by Autosport Designs and sold to its most recent CT based collector who kept, maintained and enjoyed this special DB4 for the past 23 years! A very rare opportunity, comes complete with books, tool roll, factory jack and service history and will be a welcomed addition to any enthusiasts garage or collection at home as much on the road or on the show field.
