Codys Classic Cars is pleased to offer this drop dead gorgeous 1959 Ford Galaxie Retractable Hardtop! Beautifully restored in 2004 from top to bottom, this iconic model has been part of a private collection of convertibles for the past 17 years in a climate controlled warehouse. Just about every component of this car was rebuilt or replaced during its extensive restoration so it still looks as good as it did when it rolled off the assembly line in 1959! Features include a 332cid V8 (rebuilt with less than 200 miles), Cruise-O-Matic transmission, power steering and brakes, Town & Country radio (with hidden FM convertor) Sunray wheel covers, bumper guards, and more! Like new Torch Red/Black/Silver interior, stunning Raven Black paint, and sparkling chrome and stainless. Recent services include a new battery, carb rebuild, and tune up. Starts, runs, and drives great! Retractable hardtop works like it should, please see VIDEO HERE: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PMbkYZmxHN4

This is a stunning car that will command everyones attention when you roll in, without a doubt. Be it your local cruise night or car show, be the main attraction!!

Serious offers encouraged. Financing/Shipping available. We sell worldwide! The 59s were a conservative, yet popular car line that came extremely close to out-selling arch-rival Chevys all-new cars, despite being a reskin of Fords successful 1957-1958 cars. The Fords could be had with the large, high-compression FE block 352 cubic inch, 300-horsepower V-8, but most buyers opted for the more economical FE 332, with 225 horsepower, or the Y 292, with 200 horsepower. Most collectible are the Skyliner retractables; only 12,915 were built. They featured a specific frame that combined the heavier-duty construction of their Sunliner convertible brethren with an extended rear frame and extended rear quarter panels of a station wagon in order to make room for the retracting roof.

Dealer Disclosure
Terms of Sale -All vehicles are sold as-is with no warranties of any kind, and all sales are final. We strongly encourage you to inspect, in person, any vehicle you are considering purchasing. Third party inspections are also welcome and encouraged. Owning a classic car or truck can be a very rewarding experience, but one must perform their own due diligence throughout the purchasing process. Old vehicles are just that – old and used. They do not appear, ride, or drive like a new vehicle, and can have breakdowns and future problems. Please keep that in mind. We will refund your deposit if you inspect the car and decide it's not the one for you, but once you take delivery, it's yours. -To place a vehicle on hold for 7 days to allow for an inspection, a deposit of $500 (via credit card) is required. This deposit will be applied to the purchase price, and is always refundable should you decide the car isn't right for you after the inspection. -Acceptable forms of final payment include cash, cashier's check, or wire transfer. All sales are final. A $99 document fee is added to the final purchase price. Wisconsin residents will pay sales tax and titling fees. Out-of-state buyers will be responsible for any applicable taxes and registration in their state/country of residence.
