1959 Edsel Ranger, 303 hp (226 kW) 361 cu in (5.9 L) FE V8 with a four-barrel carburetor was standard, as was a three-speed manual transmission. Buyers could upgrade to a three-speed automatic transmission with a standard column-mounted gear selector, or could choose Edsels highly promoted, but trouble-prone Teletouch automatic, which placed its drive-selection buttons in the steering wheel hub. Interior- Nice Looking 3 tones of green vinyl plus fabric seats. 3 tones on the door panels look beautiful. Lots of chrome on the dash. Steel lower painted beautiful dash. Vinyl dash pad no ripples, fitted & installed well. Edsel was a division of Ford For the 1958 to 1960 models. Built on the shorter, narrower Edsel platform, shared with Ford and Edsel Pacer models. A base trim model The Ranger Edsel this one a four-door sedan. Ranger was 1 of 3 of Edsels model nameplates reused by Ford Motor Company the Truck, Villager and Corsair being the others. Base trim features included arm rests, a cigarette lighter, rear-view mirror, two coat hangers, and black rubber floor mats. On the exterior, Rangers received chrome around the rear quarter-panel cove molding. This car is a Two-tone pain option. Light Aqua code N With a white roof and white side body panels. Exterior- Everywhere you look on this vehicle there are elegant shapes and curves. Everything merges together, nothing appears that it was just stuck on the car because it needed to be there. Intricate wide falling up teardrop shaped center grill piece that creates a split front grill with horizontal venting on each side. The tear drop merges in a dip into the bumper. The taillights have checkerboard stainless steel bezels and three taillights including a backup light. Hood like ornaments on each fender top in the front. The car is a work of art as much as it is a car. Complete symmetry. The car horizontal that start under the wraparound large back 303 hp (226 kW) 361 cu in (5.9 L) FE V8with a four-barrel carburetor was standard, as was a three-speed manual transmission.
