1959 Chevrolet El Camino

KC Classic Auto is proud to present this AMAZING 1959 El Camino, A.K.A Cami!1959 was the first year for the El Camino and wow, what an example we have here! Rotisserie restored and gorgeous!Somewhat of a local legend, this El Camino took home MANY trophies from local car shows and was driven across the country to even more shows over the years. Impressively, some of the trophies are for Longest Distance Driven, because the previous owner was not afraid to take this anywhere! TONS of trophies and plaques from car shows attended over the years will be included in the sale.Powered by its original 348ci V8 with a 3x2bbl carburetor setup. The engine was rebuilt in 2024. A SUPER RARE factory air cleaner for this setup will also be included in the sale (see photos). Originally a 3-speed manual on the column from the factory, it now has a period correct, rebuilt 3-speed manual on the column with a Borg Warner R10 overdrive unit (switch under the dash) that was installed in 2023. A new clutch was also installed, along with the flywheel being resurfaced. This El Camino has also has power steering, power brakes (recently rebuilt), and Vintage Air Conditioning and heat!Refinished in gorgeous black and white two tone. The body and paint are in great shape, but not perfect. There are a few scratches, touchup spots, minor dents, and the hood has a few bubbles and a crack that can all be viewed in the photos.
