1959 Chevrolet 3100

1959 Chevrolet Fleetside Custom pick-up. This was a ground up custom restoration that started out as a 1959 Farmer's truck in white with a Six cylinder 3 speed transmission "On the tree". The truck received a Fuel Injected LT1 engine with anything that could be chromed was done. The body and paint was done by a true craftsman with over a thousand man hours put into this labor of love. The interior was done in leather and custom gauges.The under carriage,and drivetrain was completed by Scotty's Hot Rod's of Ventura California. The frame is an amazing piece of art along with the rest of the truck. The truck rides on a brand new air ride system. Living in Cali also meant to add a new air conditioning system. The bed of the truck is done with White Oak and stainless rails between.The pictures will show how much money and effort was put into this truck because there are to many details to list. The long/short of this story is that it would take over a couple hundred thousand to recreate this truck. We sent it to Mecum Auto Auction in June 2016 and sadly the truck came close but did not hit it's reserve price. I have placed it here and a couple other sites with an extremely modest price to sell.
