1959 Austin-Healey Sprite

1959 Austin Healey Bug Eye Sprite- Local 1-Owner, Louisville Entrepreneur and Businessman Neil MacDonald received this vehicle as a High School Graduation Gift from his Aunt and it remained in his possession the entire time. There are numerous stories told by family Members of the many memorable times and trips Neil enjoyed with this awesome vehicle including the time he and his wife drove it from Louisville to Quebec Canada on Vacation... This vehicle underwent a complete frame off, mechanical, body, interior restoration in the early 2000s with absolutely no expense spared. The car has only 79,250 original miles and all numbers matching. This vehicle has always been stored in a climate controlled facility and never exposed to inclement weather at anytime in its life, so absolutely no rust or corrosion issues on this one. I have been over this vehicle in detail and have to say it is without a question one of the finest I have ever seen. Neil was a vey active member in the local Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) during the 60 and was a well known Gymkhana Participant with his Bug Eye Sprite at Weekend Events. The Vehicle Proudly wears its original British Racing Green Color along with its Green Interior Hides, It has the Black Convertible Top and Cockpit Cover. Original Engine with the Dual SU Carbs.
