Classic Car Overview
The Volkswagen Beetle is far and away the most produced and widely known vehicle of all time. However, with over 21 million units produced, Beetles in rough shape are a dime a dozen. Especially when one looks for older specific years. Todays example could not be any further from that if it tried. What we have here is an absolutely stunning Beetle with a fantastic exterior/interior combination that is virtually flawless its gleamy paint is spectacular with incredible reflection and proper body gaps etc.. The underside is just as clean as the exterior, which is just as clean as the interior, which as just as clean as the engine bay. In all this is arguably one of the finest on the market and given its extensive showing history including its most recent win at Goodguys Del Mar it brought home another 1st place. This is a fully restored vehicle constructed in its original color combination and is a true Sunroof Coupe, accompanying the vehicle is its Certificate of Authenticity that provides its lastly history as a San Francisco CA Delivered car with M350 Configuration for USA Spec. Receipts and Docs following its restoration appears to show it has been a CA Car its whole life.

Exterior
This Black Beetle is in phenomenal shape. The L41 jet-black paint reflects more detail than a mirror. The always-classic style wheels were powder coated show no flaws or surface corrosion coupled to the Blackwall tires gives this Beetle a very stylish look. This Beetle does feature the sliding fabric sunroof and it looks excellent. There are no visible holes or tears, any light ware from use may be evident. The chrome front and rear bumpers are clean and straight. One walk around the car makes it blatantly obvious that this Beetle has been exceptionally maintained and Well done.
Interior
The M104 Code Red leatherette interior pairs with the black exterior wonderfully. The seats are fantastic, and looks as new. The white Bakelite steering wheel and black metal dash have no chips or scratches to speak of, and all the gauges are clean. Custom Retro Sound and Audio offers discreetly hidden USB Connection and Bluetooth Mic for phone hook up was installed for some modern convenience. The Correct COCO floormats are in great condition as is matching correct carpet. The folding fabric sunroof looks excellent both closed and open. The frunk is clean and another wonderful surprise is an extra spare wheel and tire.
Mechanical
The underside of this Beetle is unbelievably clean. Equally as clean, is the engine bay. Everything looks as though it has been freshly detailed. It would probably have been a challenge to find a speck of dust that is out of place when these photos were taken. Equipped with upgraded 1500cc 4cyl engine and 4 speed Transmission.
Between 1950 and 1959, a number of changes were made to the Beetles design. In 1950, hydraulic brakes and folding fabric sunroofs became optional extras. In late 1952, the split rear windshield was abandoned for a single oval shaped rear windshield. Many of the lights around the car were either improved or relocated in 1953. In 1954, Volkswagen added 2mm to the engines cylinder bore and redesigned the crankshaft. These upgrades resulted in a power bump from 30hp to 36hp. 1956 saw the addition of a now beloved Beetle feature, the classic twin chrome tailpipes. Finally, in 1958, the instrument cluster was revised for a second time, and larger rectangular rear windshield replaced the oval added in 1952. Many say this being the last Greta generation of the model with 50s flare is by far the Best and Most Collectible. Finding one in this level of condition is very rare and this particular will not last long, if interested reach out right away every time we have VWs of this caliber they tend to sell very quickly call / text David at 619-451-230
