Transmission: Rare 'rally' shift pattern Datsun 210 5 speed transmission - - this one has the Porsche 914 esq dog-leg shift pattern. Rear Axle: Stock MM rear end with a 4.22 MG Midget gear set for better modern driving. Exterior: 100% refinished with new rubber pieces from England. Custom interior, professionally reupholstered Austin America front seats in a gray English tweed pattern and rear MM seat with front and rear seat belts. Custom maple door panels. Standard MM speedometer (not functional) and fuel gauge (not accurate) along with aftermarket oil pressure, voltage, water temp. Thorough amounts of Dynamat in the doors, floors, and firewall for sound and head insulation. The roof has a special reflective material under the head liner to keep down the summer heat. Heater and defroster ducts. Headliner is new, but not perfectly installed. Thoroughly upgraded brakes. Front midget discs and rear stock MM drum. Midget dual circuit master cylinder with a Datsun master clutch cylinder. Custom suspended pedal set-up instead of the floor mounted stock MM system. Hydraulics are on the firewall where they are in a modern car. This upgrade was done for modern drivability reasons. All the brake lines are new copper-nickel allow with an adjustable proportioning valve for the rear brakes. New MGB big generator. New wiring harness made in England for North America spec cars. Halogen tail lamps and headlights. Audiovox aftermarket cruise control and relays for the head lights and bug-eye sprite wheels. Heavily modified Geo-metro pedal box with correct geometry to fit. Special adapter plate machined to mount the master cylinder on the firewall without butchering anything. Stock MG midget dual-circuit master cylinder with the OEM Datsun 210 clutch master. Clutch is now hydraulic and the brakes have a real dual system to set-up. Adjustable proportioning valve for the rear brakes as a precaution. Rebuilt distributor 11/2016, new tires 03/2016, new brake master cylinder 12/2015, new battery 11/2015, new choke cable 01/2015, rebuilt carburetor 12/2014, rebuilt fuel pump 2013, stem mirrors installed 2013, , and a 2 piece carpet kit installed in 2012. Items that need attention and have not been addressed: Chrome is passable, but not perfect, speedometer and odometer do not function, fuel gauge is not accurate, and the original steering wheel needs to be restored (restoration kit is available), and unfortunately a nickel size windshield crack.
