The 283 V8 is backed by a 3 speed manual transmission with a floor mounted shifter that makes this 1958 Chevy a really fun car to take on a Sunday cruise. Exhaust exits the small block Chevy powerplant via stock exhaust manifolds and out a dual exhaust setup that generates a terrific throaty sound. Youll have piece of mind while hanging lanes and squeezing into a tight parking space thanks to dual chrome outside mirrors that allow you to see down the sides of this Chevy 2 door. This 1958 Del Ray rides on a brand new set of wide whitewall radial tires mounted on steel wheels and finished with polished full wheelcovers that together give the car a fantastic look and even better ride! The body of this 1958 Chevrolet has been refinished in a custom Fathom Blue Metallic paint that completes the exterior look of cool classic car. The front and rear bench seats have been reupholstered in Grey cloth with Blue diamond-stitched cloth inserts and blue piping that give the car a custom yet period-correct look and feel. Additionally, the door panels, sun visors and headliner have all been re-done, sporting matching upholstery. Brand new blue carpeting was recently installed and complements the Fathom Blue metallic painted dash and stock steering wheel. The instrumentation includes a 120 MPH speedometer, temperature gauge, and fuel gauge. The stock instrument cluster is further supplemented by a pair of VDO gauges for temperature and oil pressure which are mounted neatly under the dash.
