1958 Chevrolet Apache Fleetside Custom Frame-Off Restored
This one-of-a-kind 1958 Chevrolet Apache Fleetside is a true showpiece that looks like it rolled right off a ZZ Top album cover. The bodywork is a work of art with extensive hand-formed metalwork and professional finishing throughout.
The cab has been stretched six inches for extra legroom, with seamlessly tubbed rear wheel wells to fit oversized wheels and tires. The hood has been pancaked for a sleeker, more aggressive profile. The short bed is fully finished inside and out, featuring a custom grille, hood, and tailgate with striking infinity mirror taillights that make it stand out even more.
Under the hood is a 350 small-block V8 with a Muncie four-speed transmission, Edelbrock carburetor, Hooker headers, dual exhaust, large aluminum radiator, and a relocated fuel tank under the bed. The battery is hidden under the cab with a clean electrical disconnect. It rides on American Racing wheels with power steering and front disc brakes, giving it a great stance and smooth handling.
The interior has upholstered bucket seats, with extra fabric bolts included for finishing out the upholstery remaining upholstery. Add air conditioning, an LS swap, or custom engine shrouding and this could easily become a six-figure truck. It currently runs and drives great, cruising smoothly, you can run 80+ in this truck easily. The bed is all steel, which gives excellent rear traction, but a wood insert could be added for a show finish.
