This 1958 Cadillac Series 62 Coupe DeVille was sold new, and delivered by Bland - Willis Cadillac of Houston, Texas on August 13, 1958. It came dressed in Somerset Blue with Alpine White roof over a Blue Leather with Camden Cloth interior. The car is powered by its smooth running 365 Cubic inch V8 engine, 4 speed automatic transmission and rear wheel drive. The car comes highly optioned to include power steering, power brakes, power windows, power brakes, air conditioning, 6 way adjustable power front seat, chrome Sabre Spoke wheels, auto dimming headlights, E-Z-Eye glass, push-button Towne & Country Radio etc.

The exterior has been refinished in the factory-correct color combination and retains all of its original trim with chrome bumpers. The interior appears to be all original and shows very nice for its age. Mechanically, the car starts runs and drives very well. It remained in the State of Texas for the majority of its life and has always been well kept and tended to. The odometer reads 53850 miles, and those miles are believed to be original.

1958 introduced a number of new design cues for Cadillac to include dual headlights, its long and sleek 222 inch body and more pronounced tail fins that today is still its signature. They were long and luxurious cars built for important people. The car here is a well kept example that has always remained largely intact. It has known history and remains an iconic American Classic.
