This 1957 Oldsmobile Golden Rocket 88 4-door Sedan is finished in gloss black with a black vinyl interior. An older restoration that has aged well, it rides on correct 14-inch wheels with 57 Olds wheel covers and carries a stance that looks factory-correct. The sheet metal is good overall with only minor surface rust in spots, the black paint throws a strong gloss with only minor imperfections. The chrome shines beautiful throughout, and brightwork vibrant with only minor flaws.
The Rocket 88 has been replaced with a dependable Chevrolet 350 CID V8 for a smooth, quiet, power - backed by a TH350 automatic. The frame is solid, the floors are sound, and the cabin retains its mostly stock character with an original dash fitted with a tasteful set of added gauges, but with black vinyl bench seats, matching door panels, decent plaid carpeting.
