While the 1955 and 1956 models established the Thunderbird name, the 1957 redesign perfected it. Ford created a timeless icon that arguably looked better than any personal luxury car on the road.
This 1957 Ford Thunderbird is presented in Colonial White with a white vinyl soft top, blue porthole hard top and two-tone blue interior. It is powered by a 312 cubic inch V8 motor factory rated at 245 horsepower which is paired to a 3-speed Ford-O-Matic automatic transmission.
The recipient of an older high-quality restoration, this Legendary Thunderbird is in exceptionally good overall condition from the exterior paint, bright chrome accents and well designed interior.
The 312 cubic inch motor with Holley 4-barrell carburetor comes to a quick start with a few pumps of the gas and easily pulls through the gear range of the automatic transmission. The interior of this Ford is well appointed with power windows, power seat, and factory AM radio.
Along with the power of the V8 motor this Thunderbird features power steering and brakes as well as fifty-six spoke chrome wire wheels wrapped in wide white wall tires.
