Vehicle Overview

1957 Thunderbird checks all the boxes. air conditioning, power steering, power brakes, porthole hardtop, convertible softop, wire wheels, white walls, trunk mount rear antenna, seatbelts, engine dress up. Comes with a 312 V-8, automatic transmission and a 3:10 rear end.
Purchased from Volo Auto Museum in 2019. They stated they purchased it from a women they sold it to 16 years ago. It was restored 20 years ago, and has been very well taken care of. I have put approx. 300 miles since purchased in 2019. Mileage shown when purchased was just over 3,000. Vehicle has a clear title. VIN #D7FH191284.

Mechanical

Runs like a top. no leaks. Since purchased in 2019, new battery, radiator hoses, heater core, transmission line, thermostat, water pump ignition switch, rear brakes. New gasgets for rear main seal, timing cover, oil pan, water pump, exhaust pipe and manifold. Transmission was overhauled in late 2025.

Exterior

Factory born flame red, white port hole hardtop, Kelsey Hayes wire wheels with white walls, trunk mounted antenna. The paint has a shiny high gloss red finish and shows no cracking or bubbling. There are 2 small paint chips on the edge of the trunk lid and on the edge of the hood (occurred when hood was removed to access the transmission. Door jambs are nice and weather strips are still soft. It has a reproduction white soft top that is stored behind the front seat.

Interior

The inside has new cushions and was reupholstered when I bought it. It has a slight separation on the the driver's side seat (shown in the video). Everything electrical works, except the clock. The door panels and carpet were replaced and has an aftermarket neatly placed air conditioner beneath the dash. The dash and roof liner are in excellent condition.

There isn't any dry rot and the tread is in good condition. The sort top was new when I purchased the vehicle. It is not discolored.
