Enjoyed by Current Owner in Sacramento, CA Since 1979

The current owner of this 1957 Ford Thunderbird Convertible Hardtop is the 2nd lifetime owner and they took possession of the vehicle over 40 years ago.  This beautiful classic was sold in Sacramento, California to the original owner and has remained there throughout its entire life with excellent service records to show proper maintenance and care.  It’s also worth pointing out that this example has not been restored over the decades- it’s simply a classic that’s been kept up at the highest possible standards.

Some may not consider it a true survivor since the motor was rebuilt in the 90’s and there’s been some minor cosmetic reconditioning, but it’s lifetime of excellent provenance proves that it’s not very far off.  There’s no guesswork involved here since we have true lifetime documentation of how this prestigious classic was enjoyed across six decades of ownership.

Ultra-Clean, Highly Original & Never Fully Restored

Additionally, this 1957 Ford Thunderbird Removable Hardtop shows excellent in person with only the slightest of visible imperfections.  The body lines are fantastic with excellent chrome, glass and trim.  The interior is equally as impressive with blemish-free white seating, a like-new dashboard and super clean factory gauges.  You’ll also find a highly original engine compartment that simply hasn’t changed over the years- this vehicle is absolutely sensational in person since it also performs at a very high level.

Out on the open road, this 1957 Ford Thunderbird has nice acceleration, tight handling and an ultra-smooth overall feel for a classic that’s never been overhauled or fully restored.  It reaches highway speeds with ease and has a really nice, solid feel while cruising through traffic.  This example could be enjoyed today as a really nice driver or tucked away since it will continue to appreciate in value.
