This fully restored frame off restoration 1957 Ford Thunderbird was built May 20th, 1957 at Fordâ€™s Dearborn, Michigan plant and is powered by a 312ci V8 engine mated to a Ford-O-Matic three-speed automatic transmission. Under the hood this Thunderbird has been fully detailed and features Master-Guide power steering and Swift Sure power brakes for comfort and convenience. Restored in its original scheme of Flame Red with a Colonial White porthole top, the exterior of the Thunderbird shows excellently with minimal flaws and has a rich, deep, shine while the chrome is excellent with no pitting or rust and features optional backup lights and rear fender gravel guards. Inside the interior, the upholstery has been redone in the original Flame Red vinyl, according to the original data tag, and the dash features a speedometer, tachometer, fuel gauge, temperature gauge, and clock, along with a set of accessory Stewart Warner gauges which monitor oil pressure, water temperature, vacuum, and amperage. Additionally, this Thunderbird also features a Town and Country radio and Fordâ€™s Lifeguard padded dashboard, sun visors, and steering wheel. The Thunderbird rides on a set of Goodyear Custom Super Cushion 7.50-14 wide whitewalls mounted on a set of optional 14-inch Kelsey Hayes chrome wire wheels with Thunderbird center caps to give the car the perfect period correct look.
