1. BODY AND EXTERIOR
GENERAL DESCRIPTION: A “frame on” restored 1957 Ranchero. During restoration the truck was stripped to bare metal and any rusted or damaged panels repaired or replaced. Subtle custom touches were performed. Quality of restoration is very good.
EXTERIOR FINISH: The truck is finished in Silver with red, silver and yellow flame motif outlined in blue pinstripe on the hood and front fenders. Pinstripe design adorns the tailgate. Paint quality is very good.
FRONT FENDERS: Very good restored condition. The inner fenders are well finished.
HOOD: Very good restored condition, the underside is well finished. The hinges and latches work well, fit is good. All chrome trim and badges are removed and the holes filled.
ROOF: Very good restored condition.
DOORS: Very good restored condition, the hinges are tight and panel fit is good. Minor paint chips on door edges. The door handles have been removed and the holes filled. Remote poppers with emergency release are fitted.
RUNNING BOARDS, ROCKER PANELS, DOOR SILLS: Very good restored rocker panels. New inner sills have been installed.
REAR FENDERS: Very good restored condition.
BOX: The restored box is covered by a black canvas tonneau.
GRILL AND BRIGHT WORK: The bumpers and grille have been rechromed, all remaining trim and badges have been removed. The windshield and side window stainless steel trim is in good repolished condition.
