1957 Ford Fairlane 500 Sunliner Convertible 312 V8 Cruise O Matic Beautiful Driver This is a 1957 Ford Fairlane 500 Sunliner Convertible equipped with the 312 V8 and 2 speed Cruise O Matic transmission. It came out of an older gentlemans collection in Beaumont, Texas, and was driven very little before I purchased it. Since owning it, Ive gone through the brake system and handled the maintenance needed to make it a dependable cruiser. This is not a show car, but its a very nice driver that gets compliments and photos everywhere it goes. Chrome is excellent, paint is fresh, and its a great car for cruise ins, weekend drives, and local events. Highlights 312 V8 engine 2 speed Cruise O Matic transmission Aluminum valve covers 600 Holley carburetor New Torq Thrust II polished wheels New Cooper Cobra tires New convertible top New top motor and pump New wheel well liners Excellent white interior All new rubber around the top Shaved door handles with new door poppers Frenched antenna New Halo LED headlights All chrome in great shape Runs and drives good take it anywhere Condition Paint: Newer paint, shines well Interior: Clean, bright white, no issues Chrome/Trim: Excellent throughout Mechanical: Solid driver, brakes recently redone, starts and runs strong Overall: A beautiful, attention getting Sunliner thats reliable and fun, but not a concours car Story Bought out of an older mans collection in Beaumont, Texas after he passed. The car had been stored and driven very little. Since then, Ive refreshed the brakes, updated several components, and kept it as a dependable cruiser.
