Powered by the original 354-cu.in. Chrysler Hemi that was ultimately the reason the program was unfortunately banned from NASCAR. The restoration of the engine was performed by professionals including Don Brown of Burlington, North Carolina, who ordinarily works on factory lightweight Fords. He was responsible for restoring the fuel system. The Penske Racing engine shop and founding Holman-Moody engine man Pete Taylor performed the rebuild on the engine. The results are simply astounding when you pop open the hood and see it in person.
