1957 Chevrolet COE Flatbed Why transport your classic on any old trailer when you can haul it on this very cool custom built 1957 Chevrolet Flatbed and do it in style. The 57 Chevrolet line of pickups have a cool look to begin with but combine it with a car hauler and you have a super unique classic. It may have started as a work truck but has been totally redone and brought into the modern era of performance. This frame off restored pickup is in excellent condition throughout and set up to safely transport vehicles anywhere. It is a COE meaning it is a "Cab Over Engine" truck. It has nice Black paint with Red pinstriping accents throughout. The original style chrome and stainless trim have a beautiful shine and are cleanly mounted in place. The rear flatbed features diamond plate surfaces with tie downs in all four corners. The back of the bed is angled for better clearance and light aluminum ramps are hidden underneath. It also has a power winch and the controls are tucked into the side of the bed. It is a dually and rides on 6 custom Vision wheels. The original restoration included a big block 454 Chevrolet motor but it has since been redone and changed out with a fuel injected LS motor for even better performance. It is paired with a Turbo 400 automatic transmission and the strong 14 bolt rear end. During the rebuild the truck received all new brakes, new brake lines and new fuel lines throughout. It does have both power brakes and power steering making it a classic you can comfortably cruised anywhere in. The interior was completely redone with nice Red upholstery and is in great condition. It has dual bucket seats which are power adjustable. The interior cab surfaces and dash are all painted a gloss Red with the center of the headliner being upholstered. The original gauge pod was used but in place of the stock gauges it is now all Dakota Digital. It also has an added AM/FM/Cassette stereo in place. The chrome Ididit tilt steering column has a column shifter and CSS steering wheel. It is all very nicely done and comfortable. This is an extremely cool pickup on its own but if you are a collector with other cars you can pop on the back it is sure to draw a ton of attention at shows. It truly draws a crowd wherever it goes.
