This original California car is uniquely equipped, in fantastic condition, has correct date casting numbers, with original no-hit body, frame off restored and includes a thorough, well organized binder of history. This is an early production example finished in BEAUTIFUL Aztec Copper over Shoreline Beige finish. There were only 263 in this configuration from the factory. This car was bought new in California and resided there until roughly 2005. A 5 year, frame off restoration was completed in 2000. The original body was refinished in the correct Aztec Copper over Beige with basecoat/clearcoat finish. Correct new Beige Soft Top and Interior were installed at this time. The OEM hardtop was refinished in Aztec Copper with a new old stock rear window refitted in late 2010. During the complete restoration, the 283ci 245HP V8 with Dual 4bbl Carbs was completely rebuilt, balanced, blueprinted and features the correct casting of #3731548. The original 4 Speed Manual Transmission was completely reassembled at this time as well. Low production power window optioned car with working radio, fires right up and runs like a dream.
