I would call this car an older partially restored survivor as the list of things I have done to this car is fairly short, most of the work was done back in
the early 1980s.
of cars.
This car still runs and drives very well for its age the ride is very true to its original form as I am somewhat of a purist when it comes to these types
I have proudly owned this car for 47 years and it's time to find it a new home.
It has always been garaged, always been fully registered and insured.
(MECHANICAL)
*Rebuilt engine (bored .30) done by San Diego Motor Machine (1979)
**Recently replaced the fuel pump and filter (2022)
*Replaced Fuel Tank Sending Unit (4/2023)
*Rebuilt transmission (1979) with lifetime warranty contract with Aamco Transmission (annual checkup once a year for the last 44 years, I have all
records).
*Added transmission oil cooler (with permission from AAMCO) which has contributed to the transmissions longevity and functionality (1980).
*Heater Core Replaced (1980)
*Replaced exhaust system (1979)
*Shocks (1985)
*Tires (2010)
(EXTERIOR)
Matador Red/Ivory White, the car was repainted some time before my ownership, some rust popping through on lower rear passenger door.
Some chips, scratches and light imperfections.
The exterior was repainted at some time before I purchased the car as there was and still is a hint of overspray on a couple pieces of chrome here and
there, not sure when it was repainted and I dont remember if it was part of any conversations I had with the sellers back then.
OEM windshield has a crack at the bottom/center area.
This car is still very presentable today as its pretty much in the same condition as the day I purchased it 44 years ago.
(INTERIOR)
New carpeting, floor mats and steering wheel cover.
Seats, door panels and headliner are still original.
Most accessories work with the exception of the wonder bar radio, clock and factory air conditioning.
I take it out for a short drive just about every week.
The original La Jolla Chevrolet License Plate Frames on still on the car.
Asking $25,000 cash, no trades thank you and I don't need any help selling this vehicle thank you very much.
Please contact me here to schedule a time and I will give out my phone number to any "serious" parties and to come and take a look and
take a test drive.
I have a busy working schedule so my free time is limited.
Thanks for looking.......Dave.
