This is a beautifully restored and exceptionally well preserved 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air Sport Coupe that is a numbers-matching example restored by one of the most respected Tri-Five Chevrolet restoration shops in Texas. Finished in Highland Green with a matching roof over a Green and Black interior, this Bel Air is powered by its numbers-matching 283 cubic inch V8 paired with a 4-speed automatic transmission. Upgrades include Vintage Air conditioning, front disc brakes, an upgraded brake booster, an aluminum radiator, and an Edelbrock carburetor while keeping its classic factory appearance.

Restored by Mike Domoracki of The Stainless Shoppe in Austin, Texas, from 1995 to 1997, this Bel Air represents the work of one of Central Texas best-known Tri-Five Chevrolet restoration shops of the era. During the 1980s and 1990s, The Stainless Shop developed a reputation for meticulous, factory-correct restorations with an emphasis on fit, finish, and authenticity. Nearly three decades later, the quality of that restoration remains evident throughout the car.

The seats are free of tears or wrinkles, and all gauges, lights, and electrical accessories are reported to be in proper working order. The carpet shows only minor fading consistent with age.

Mechanically, the numbers-matching 283 V8 starts easily, runs strong, and is complemented by tasteful upgrades that improve drivability without taking away from the cars original appearance. The Vintage Air system blows cold, and the upgraded front disc brakes provide improved stopping performance. The automatic transmission shifts properly but has a minor fluid leak. The windshield wipers operate when manually switched on and off but will not continue running without cycling the switch, indicating the wiper system will require attention.
