Classic Car Overview

This 57 Chevy was a virgin rust free car. That is what compelled the owner to restore it, it was so clean and came apart so easy. The next step was to restore everything like new and put it all back together. There is a pile of receipts that go with the car. EXTERIOR: Looks better than it did when it left the factory in 1957, the paint never looked this good when they were new. Its a beautiful color combination, very 1950s. Body is straight, panels fit square and flush. The restorer said there was ZERO rust in the body. The paint was laid out nice, then polished very glossy and wet looking. Jambs are are slick, latches are restored. Every single piece, and I repeat- every single piece of exterior chrome and stainless trim is either new or restored to like new condition. It has been dressed up with Bel Air trim, gold emblems, dual mirrors and door handle gaurds. All of the glass except the rear window is replaced. All rubber gaskets and weatherstrips are new. Fuzzy window seals are new. Has another nice upgrade- big fat radial white wall tires. The rims are restored and painted the body color. The hubcaps are polished like a mirror and have the spinners. INTERIOR: It completely restored from carpet to headliner. Has correct reproduction upholstery with the chrome piping. Turquoise seat belts are added front and back. All new correct door panels that matches the seats. New armrests, bases, handles and window cranks. The dashes is gorgeous- all the metal trim is painted as smooth as the outside of the car. All the chrome and stainless is new. The gauges and lenses have been replaced. Steering wheel is new. New correct cloth headliner and matching visors have been replaced along with coordinated welting around the doors. Interior light works. Glove box is restored, light works. There is a neatly installed cluster of gauges so you can monitor the engines vitals. It also has reproduction floor mats front and back. ENGINE COMPARTMENT: It is completely restored and still spotlessly detailed. At the heart of it there is a completely rebuilt 350 with dual quads. It has aluminum Edelbrock intake, 2 Edelbrock 4 barrels, World Product heads and a mild cam. Every component and surface has a fresh, smooth finish. The firewall and underside of the hood are painted as nice as the outside of the car. The inner fenders and suspension are satin black. The hinges, latches, pulleys, brackets etc are all pristine. Every nut bolt and washer looks new. Wiper motor was rebuilt. All new wiring. TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Rust free, spotless metal. Everything is painted a gloss turquoise. New wiring, weatherstrip and the latches are detailed. A new car cover is included. UNDERSIDE: The body was lifted off the frame. The entire chassis was completely restored. It was stripped, cleaned and painted all the proper finishes. The frame and suspension parts are smooth satin finish black, not even a pit. Rear end center section is primer, like it should be. Upfront the suspension and steering components are completely rebuilt and detailed. The bottom side of the body is flawlessly clean, not even a pit mark anywhere in the floors. Its been sprayed red oxide primer duplicating the original. The body was reattached to the chassis, new body bushings. Every piece of hardware- nuts, bolts, clips are all new and still spotlessly clean. New shiny gas tank, new straps, new sending unit. New dual exhaust with cherry bomb mufflers. All the emergency brake cables and hardware is detailed and working. It has manual 3-speed transmission. Bottom of the motor is spotless, has a chrome oil pan and new starter. Has new brakes, brake hoses and brake lines. New shocks and springs. It does have an upgraded electric fuel pump to feed the dual quads. Underneath this car is one of the cleanest Ive seen in a long time, its so fresh looking! It looks stock, but it is actually fun opening up all 8 barrels and shifting through those gears once in a while. Its a beautiful classic. Everyone loves a 57 Chevy, most people can really appreciate quality. This car is both! Radial whitewalls Spinners Bel Air trim Door handle gaurds Dual quads Car cover Owners manual
