1957 Chevrolet 210

1957 chevrolet 210 sedan. Mildly customized Built into a hot rod many years ago. Has all steel tilt nose. 1978 Chevy camaro z28 engine with 45,000 original miles. Engine is mildly built with hotter cam, double roller timing chain and other parts. Engine has throaty idle. Runs nice. Starts very easy even when stored long periods. All gas lines, tank and carburetor were drained and cleared. Oil, transmission and rear gear oils were also changed prior to any storage. Transmission is also 1978 z28 th350 turbo 3peed was gone through. shifts very nice. Rear end has posi-traction. Gears are unknown. Ansen ground grabbers. Cherry bomb exhaust with 3ft pipes. Sounds nice. Not too loud. New 15" tires on old school mags. Tilt hood Opens nice and easy has been built to be adjustable. Hood has not been cut for hood scoop.

Paint is and old ppg base with ppg dau82 clear coat. Paint job is old but still looks nice, has some scratches and one key scratch on the passenger door that was repaired. Looks ok. Shown in picture. Comes with metallic blue base coat and clear for any repairs.

Frame and suspension has been rebuilt with new and restored parts.

Interior needs some work, passenger seat seams are starting to split.
No back seat springs were lost years ago. Gauges and lights all work accept dash temp gauge is not hooked up has aftermarket vdo temp gauge.

Turn signals, brake lights and headlights all work...front turn signals are in grille bar. Newer fuel tank and radiator.
Most all chrome and stainless are nice, few pieces of tail stainless have minor dings and trim around windshield has two small dings. Side stainless is is nice no dents. trim was polished few years ago.

Cons:
No back seat springs
Windshield wipers need motor and work.
Heater works but lines need connected to engine.
Maybe needs front end alignment had new 1" sway bar and new front 1-1/2 drop springs. Lowered 2" rear.

Interior needs work.
Could use minor things fixed like domb light quit working when door is open. Still works by headlight interior light.
Front seats missing back catches.
Most of the interior is nice.
Paint has a couple scratches and couple very very minor parking lot dings would fix very easy but overall still look nice close up. Hard to see any of the scratches. Comes with correct pint of blue metallic paint.



Pros:
Solid car. Has new smoked glass.
All side and rear glass is as-1 dot approved modern safety shatter glass.
Windshield is blue tinted modern laminated safety as-1 dot approved glass.

Has front disk brakes.
Power steering USA made borgenson.


Car is in very strait condition not full of bondo... All metal waterproof filler was used for minor dents. All exterior sheet metal is original to this car except lower front fender sections. Floor and trunk is solid.. All parts are new old stock from

Canada
Mexico
And couple old stock made in vietnam parts. Have most all receipts over many years. Car needs a good cleaning... nice overall but not perfect. Driven very little.. Has been sitting in storage about 20 years. Occasionally driven though.
Includes big box of restored and clean unrestored parts, front bumper brackets, e-brake and other parts.
Clean oregon title in my name...there are no brands or reconstructions no major accidents. Has its Original vin tag and cowl plate. Car was assembled at the L.A california plant. Includes owners manual.. No test drives tags are expired and no insurance. Sold in as-is condition.
