Kit manufactured by CMC - Classic Motor Carriages in Miami - Florida, donor car was a vintage VW beetle, fiberglass body, built on the VW pan from the donor car, also power train used from the same donor car, 1,600 air cooled 4 cylinder motor and manual transmission. Cosmetically restored in 2022, new paint job, nice color is kind of a dark Nardo blueish/gray with black trim all around, new wheels and new tires, new brakes and suspension, new carburetor, new aluminum gas tank, new halo headlights and a lot of other new things like the hood leather straps, gold Speedster badges...etc... Black bucket seats, black lap seatbelts and black carpet, working horn and working lights including turn signals and amber fog lamps, nothing was done on the undercarriage of the vehicle when the car was cosmetically restored in 2022, the vehicle sits on the old VW pan that has some old repairs and patches. Working odometer shows just over 200 miles, new AutoMeter gauges were installed in 2022, so, real number of miles is unknown. Engine performs well, sounds very good as you can hear it in the video, car runs and drives, like a kit car, the steering wheel is nice but probably the wrong size, will need a smaller diameter steering wheel and for that reason we sell this car as a project, again, car runs and drives but will be sold as a none driving project, not recommended to be driven on the highway over 45 mph until this issue is addressed. Clean title in hand, this easy project is ready to go to a new home. Pictures in the listing were taken last week, car comes with an assembly manual from Classic Motor Carriages, car does not have a convertible top, just a summer cruiser.
