This awesome widebody 1956 Porsche 356 Speedster replica is constructed on a modified Volkswagen type 2 pan and was built in the late 80s by a Volkswagen enthusiast. This 356A replica is finished in bright red paint over black vinyl upholstery and is powered by a 1,915CC flat-four paired with a four-speed manual transaxle. Equipment includes a black soft top, 15 wheels, body-color bumpers, a Bluetooth stereo, and tonneau cover. The car also features Porsche badging, a vented deck lid, and dual exhaust outlets with polished finishers. Black-finished 15 wheels wear Porsche-branded hubcaps and are mounted with radial tires. The cabin features racing front bucket seats upholstered in black vinyl with black carpets. Interior equipment includes lap belts, a sport steering VDO gauges featuring a central 7k-rpm tachometer, a 150-mph speedometer, and a fuel level gauge. The five-digit odometer shows just over 9k miles. The air-cooled 1,1915cc flat-four is equipped with a dual Weber 40 carburetors. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transaxle. An Iowa-issued VIN tag is located in the drivers door jamb and shows identification number 1112376086.
