For 1956, Packard continued to emphasize powerful V8 engines, distinctive styling, and comfortable interiors. The Executive was powered by Packards 352 cubic inch V8, while the broader Packard lineup featured the companys newly developed V8 engine family. Packards 1956 models are also recognized for their distinctive styling, including prominent chrome details and the companys characteristic vertical taillight design.
