While the 88 was Oldsmobile?s entry-level model line, it offered a versatile range of body styles including traditional 2- and 4-door sedans and Holiday 2 and 4-door hardtop sedans. Offering more standard features than most competing marques, the 88 included such premium items as armrests, bumper guards, a lined trunk, rotary door latches, dual horns, a cigarette lighter, turn signals, rubber floor mats, aluminum door sill plates, and sun visors.
