This 1956 Mercedes-Benz 190SL is powered by a 1.9-liter inline-four paired with a four-speed manual transmission and is finished in blue over red leather. Equipment includes a black convertible top, 13 steel wheels, body-color hubcaps, and Weber carburetors. Newer body and paint work as well as replacement of the clutch, carburetors, intake-manifold gaskets, battery, and brake cylinder.

Finished from the factory in Light Blue metallic (DB353H), the car has been repainted in blue and features a replacement black convertible soft top that was replaced under current ownership. Other equipment includes a driver-side mirror plus a bright windshield surround, grille, and bumpers. A July 2021 Car was repainted by Tams Auto Body of Oakland, California.

The 1.9-liter M121 inline-four was factory rated at 104 horsepower and 105 lb-ft of torque. The generator and battery wiring were replaced, as were the Weber 40 DCOE 151 carburetors, fuel hoses and filter, intake-manifold gasket, coolant and heater hoses, and battery. A $13,469 November 2021 receipt for work performed by Burlingame Motors of Burlingame, California is provided in the gallery. The VIN listed on the title is 1210426502255, which is a combination of the Typ 190SL/121042 and the Fahrgestell-Nr. 6502255 sequences on the above placard.
