Ultra rare 1956 GMC pickup boasts the original rare 316 Pontiac V8 motor. This motor was available for only 2 years. This truck also has the original Hydro-glide automatic transmission. But what really makes this truck ultra rare is that it was taken from the factory to a military contractor to be retro-fitted with a factory approved NAPCO Power pack 4X4 conversion and a divorced transfer case. I've researched various sites and I have yet to find this truck with these features, in this running condition, available to buy for less than 90k. This is the perfect truck for a purest who wants to detail it to showroom quality. This truck still has a generator instead of an alternator. It is in running condition. I do not have the ability or funds to restore it to the level it deserves, given it's historical value.
