Classic Car Overview
1956 FORD HOT ROD TRUCK
Ill start by saying that this is probably the cleanest older 56 Ive ever seen as far as condition of the body and chassis. The underneath of this truck is immaculate and nearly completely free of rust. The only rust I found is in the right rear cab corner, and will have to be replace to fix it. Otherwise this truck is amazingly clean. The truck has a piece of plywood in the bed, but from underneath the original floor is still visible and in surprisingly good condition. The doors and fenders are all very clean as well. There is no visible rust in the floors. There are some surface rust bubbles on the roof just above the drip rail on the drivers side. The glass is all nice and rolls up and down nicely.
The truck has some custom things done to it but is mostly original otherwise. Some of the things that have been done are a 1968 289/302. A C4 transmission, a crudely done tilt hood that is surprisingly efficient, and fits better than most Ive seen. Some aftermarket gauges, an electric fan. Etc. It does still have the original non-power steering. Ive tried to take good pictures showing all of the good and bad of the truck but feel free to call or email with any questions and Ill get back to you ASAP.
