Classic Car Overview

There are new trucks available now that arent as nicely finished and comfortable as this 1956 Ford F-100. A frame-off restoration and attention to detail gives it a period-correct presentation. But there are also amazing upgrades like the leather interior, A/C, and a performance-built 302ci V8 - and the whole build is unbelievably fresh with under 100 miles on it. Theres no denying that the mid-50s Ford pickups were some of the best-looking tools Ford Motor Division ever built, and this is the cream of the crop. You can see a serious investment from top to bottom that resulted in a laser-straight truck. It was then dipped in a red so tasty that youll swear it was candy. Fit and finish are very nice, an thats because it has been scrutinized down to every last nut and bolt - so you know even the best car show judges will take notice. The curvy bodywork has a classic old pickup look that also manages to be sporty at the same time. And the cabs aggressive forward-leaning appearance furthers this appeal. Even the original badges on the side of the hood and doors remain in place. They act like pointers to the dazzling new chrome front grille and bumper. And the two-piece wheels and whitewall tires keep pouring on the 50s-style charm. While this Ford is a show-stopper, dont be surprised if people actually spend more time looking at the rear of this one. Thats because it has interesting features such as the rare wraparound big back window and the wood in the bed is so fresh you can almost smell the forest. Just like the exterior, the interior has plenty of period-correct charm and all the best upgrades. The standard bench seat has been replaced with a custom leather setup. It has a great presentation with matching door panels and the red stitching that connects this to the rest of the interiors color. Plus, youll love the plusher feeling of leather, as well as the rich scent that fills the cab. At first glance, the whole dash area might appear very period-correct, including the vintage heater and thin black steering wheel. But this one hides some pretty cool upgrades. For example, the gauges look stock, but its really a custom setup with a well-integrated tach. The air conditioning looks like the old-school Ford unit but its blowing cold modern R134a. And when was the last time you saw plush carpeting in a workmens ride like this? So just like the best nostalgia, the interior looks authentic, but its exceptionally more comfortable than it came from the factory. While the interior and exterior impress with period-correct presentation, the engine bay is filled with new Ford power. This is Fords powerful 302 cubic-inch V8 and theres only 80 miles on the fresh crate motor. It looks fantastic in the engine bay with features like the Ford Racing valve covers, as well as polished components like the compressor, pulleys, brackets, stylized air topper and so much more. But beyond its style is some serious substance. There are performance components like an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor and a performance intake. This makes some big power and a sweet rumble from the dual exhaust. And as you follow the pipes path in the undercarriage photos, you see the tidy advantage that comes from investing in a frame-off restoration. And when all the details are this well sorted, especially in a place few people will see, you realize the difference between a nice restoration and a cut-above classic that belongs in the upper echelons. More than just look great, this pickup was built to be a driver, too. Thats why the V8 is mated to a three-speed automatic transmission. Plus, this has power steering and front disc brakes. You even have an aluminum radiator and electric fan to keep this vintage pickup running cool even if youre in traffic with the A/C pumping. This custom build perfectly combines classic looks, modern conveniences, and high horsepower. This fine Ford is turn-key ready to take you on long trips in comfort, haul home awards, or both! Its the highest quality F-100 weve seen come through here, so if youre a true connoisseur, dont miss out on this classic. Call today!!!
